Andrea Rodriguez: I was born in Dominican Republic and is the youngest of four girls. Being born in Dominican Republic, Spanish is my first language. As a child, I was very active and hands on. I enjoy bike rides, spending time outdoors and going on family vacations to new places. Leading into adulthood, I have always stayed in touch with sports and fitness. I am a major supporter of my three daughters throughout their basketball careers, I continue to motivate them in having an active routine and staying fit. I graduated from Nova with an Associates in Child Development, my plans are to continue my education and pursue the teaching path. I have been working with the District School Board of Pasco county for over 10 years. I have also worked in Child Care Programs. My love for kids is what brings me joy every day at work. This excitement and passion that I have working with my staff to provide students with the tools they need to be successful and to help them enjoy their educational experience is overwhelming. I want to share the Spanish language with the students in Explorations to boost cross-cultural understanding and allow these students to expand with their own languages as well.
